Spunlace is a nonwoven fabric production process. It involves bonding short fibers into a web using high-pressure water jets to create a strong, soft, and breathable fabric without requiring binders. The resulting material is commonly used for wipes, medical textiles, hygiene products, and other disposable items. Our spunlace technology is parallel and semi-cross. What is spunlace?

Spunlace nonwoven fabric is a nonwoven material formed by hydroentangling short fibers to interlock them into a coherent, unknitted web. The fibers can be natural (cotton, wool, silk, linen), conventional (viscose, lyocell, bamboo, polyester, polypropylene, acetate, polyamide), or specialty/fine fibers (e.g., differentiated, shaped, ultrafine, high‑curl, low‑melting, and even functional fibers such as carbon or metal fibers). The technique was developed in the 1960s by DuPont. Spunlace fabrics are produced by applying high‑pressure water jets to entangle the fibers, creating a strong, soft, and versatile material suitable for a wide range of applications.
